About the Prayer Warrior Programs:

Marissa M Parducci originally started this e-mail Prayer Warrior address list following the September 11th tragedy. She felt called to share her faith with friends and family by impressing upon them how peace could be achieved amidst such chaos. She started by sending a few e-mails out to those that were nearest and dearest to her. God said He appreciated it, but wanted more. Marissa trusted Him and cautiously sent duplicate messages out to everyone else on her e-mail list. He was pleased, but asked her to go further. She took a deep breath, realized He would provide for her no matter what the fallout and sent the same message to co-workers and bosses at the office certain that she had overstepped her boundaries. Replies came in waves...many from fellow Christians who were thankful for the reminder that God is still in control and still sits on the throne...some were honored that Marissa placed them in prayer by asking God to grant them the peace that passes all understanding (including her boss). Our Heavenly Father didn't stop there; He reminded her that some people don't have computers and asked that she mail out the same message to everyone else in her personal address book. She obliged simply because she said she could feel His Hand moving her. Over the past 4 years, God is slowly impressing upon her that this is becoming her ministry. She would truly like to honor Him in doing so. Won't you please join us in lifting up others in prayer and thanksgiving to Our Heavenly Father?

Prayer list for First Baptist Church

An Evening Prayer
(S. Nelson May 17, 2005)

Lord...in the stillness of the night
I hear Your wooing voice so clear
And I regret life's hectic pace
That seldom lets Thy presence near

Lord...now at this close of day
I ask You to remove my sin
That I may close my eyes in rest
That I may know Thy peace within

Lord...I ask You to forgive
Each prayer that did not cross my heart
Each act of mercy left undone
Each work of grace I did not start

Lord....I ask You to forgive
Each Word of Thine I did not heed
Each moment that I kept from You
That could have met another's need

Lord...I ask You to forgive
Each willful thought that cursed my mind
Each tear unshed for lost men's souls
Each word I spoke that was unkind

Lord...if new dawn should find me here
If I yet another day should see
I ask that You would grant a walk
More worthy of Thy love for me...

(.....walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called....Eph 4:1)
Take care dear brethren through another week of trials and triumphs...God is still listening and speaking...in that we can rest and rejoice amen.......
